We, the residents of the village and the temple, deeply commemorate the 10th death anniversary of the Most Venerable Agga Maha Pandita, Royal Pandit, Vinaya Wisarada, Dharma Keerthi Sri Sumangala Vidyathansa Weligama Sri Gnanaratanabhidhana Mahanayaka Thero, who played a significant role in uplifting the moral and spiritual well-being of our society. This meritorious event was held on the Duruthu Poya day (25th) at Mallikarama Maha Vihara, with the participation of Chief Incumbent Royal Pandit, Venerable Ranasgalle Gnanaweera Thero, Royal Pandit Kahataruppe Wimalarathana Thero, who resides in America, and the resident Kahataruppe Wimalakitti Thero
The event was celebrated with great festivity, attended by Ratmalana Air Force Commander Air Commander J.K. Jayasekara, along with all the staff, monks residing in the Mallikarama Temple, donors, and other devotees who participated, as well as those who did not take part in the celebration.
